With the Blundell Arms closing very soon there will be a race night for the very last time tonight(Friday 26 Feb).
Nick, speaking on behalf of the Blundell said: “I know that this is short notice but if anyone has nothing on tonight you are very welcome to come and join us in Blundell arms around 7 o’clock onwards.
“The race night is for our young footy local players and I must admit there are some fantastic talent there!
“All your support is needed to keep these young boys and girls going in a sport they really enjoy, even half an hour of your time would make a huge difference. There are plenty of raffle prizes to be won and a great atmosphere with two lovely people ‘Seb and Leslie’ who are running it”.
“This unfortunately will be the last time any event will be taking place in this historic building, so please if you have a little spare time just pop in and have a little bet on the gee gee’s”.
