Jogger taken to Hospital after falling in Hesketh Park

A  jogger was taken to hospital after falling in Hesketh Park, Sunday 28 February 2016.

A man took a tumble at around 1.30pm this afternoon whilst jogging around Hesketh Park this afternoon. The man was comforted by his jogging partner whilst Hesketh Road residents offered blankets.

A Paramedic response car arrived some thirty minutes after the 999 call followed by an ambulance at around 2.30pm.

The man was later taken to Southport Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
