HM Coastguard Southport Merseyside Fire and Rescue training on beach
Today HM Coastguard Southport crew took part in a joint training exercise with Merseyside Fire and Rescue (Southport) to practice recovering a person from the mud and soft sand on our beach, Sunday 31 July 2016.
Both teams worked together to learn the best techniques and the equipment to use in each situation.
