Health Watchdog takes Ambulance problems to Southport Council April 18th, 2013 admin Latest News Shares Comments Health Watchdog takes Ambulance problems to Southport Council Councillor Tony Dawson, who represents local people on the Sefton Health Scrutiny Committee is seriously concerned about reports of patients once again having to wait for treatment and emergency ambulances not being available locally due to ambulances ‘stacking up’ at the Southport & Formby hospital, unable to release their patients. Councillor Dawson intends to take this matter up at the Sefton Council meeting in Southport Town Hall tonight. There is an agenda item setting up the Sefton Health Board and of the four representatives of the local population being proposed by the Bootl Labour councillors to be on that board, not one is from Southport or Formby.
