Hard faced swim equipment thief leaves pliers behind

A hard faced thief that has been pinching swim equipment from Swim Academy Southport since September has left his/her pliers behind.

Swim Academy owner Matthew Said: “Since September equipment has been going missing in dribs and drabs. In an attempt to stop this we invested in a padlocked cage to store it.”

“9 days since the equipment has been onsite some hard faced thief has left their pliers on our cage. So if you know Chris, or believe these pliers belong to you then get in touch. I will keep hold of them for 30 days then if not collected I will donate them to charity.”

“I can’t believe anyone would be so hard up to pinch armbands, watering cans and squirty toys. What’s the world coming to?”
