Golfer Air Lifted from the Hesketh Golf Club Southport

A male was today air lifted to Wythenshaw hospital after collapsing beside 7th green at the Hesketh golf club, Southport, Thursday 19 March 2015.

The male who was part of visiting society collapsed complaining of chest pains. The man’s playing partners then called for an ambulance.

An ambulance response car arrived within minutes and made the decision that air lifting the man to hospital was the best option.

The air ambulance arrived within fifteen minutes of making the call.

The man is now in a stable condition at Wythenshaw hospital.
