Glenn ‘busybody’ Furnice was jailed for thieving £30,000 worth of printer Cartridges from his Southport employer

Mitchell & Wright employee stole more than £30,000 worth of printer cartridges and sold them on eBay was locked up for eight months.

Glenn Furnice had worked for Mitchell & Wright for 23 years when he started to sell the companies printer cartridges on eBay.

Furnace (47), of Rufford Road, Crossens was caught out by a colleague’s who saw he left his eBay page open on his work computer.

The Rufford Road resident was fired by Mitchell & Wight and arrested by police, where he admitted everything.

Thomas Teague, QC, said Furnice had made in excess of £30,000 by “exploiting his position”.

Furnice, had no previous convictions, admitted a charge of theft from an employer and was jailed for eight months.
