2015 is going to be a big year for the Fleetwood Hesketh Sports and Social Club, Crossens after a cracking series of sell out shows in 2014.

In conjunction with ‘Southport’s Gentlemen of Rock’n’Roll’, they will once again be presenting a series of monthly star dances, featuring top Sixties acts designed to appeal to those who are still young at heart and avid followers of the Sixties and Seventies style of music.

In January they will be turning the spotlight on the superb Tamla Motown band, Soul Patrol, a hard hitting five-piece outfit with a long proven track record of top class performances throughout the North West and beyond, having supported such stars as Jimmy Ruffin, Edwin Starr and The Real Thing as well as being regulars at the Matthew Street Festival in Liverpool.

February sees the welcome return by public demand of the ever popular Bootles, who last year broke box office records at the venue, whilst a fantastic ABBA tribute act is booked for March.

For April, a real feather in the cap for the club is the appearance of famous hit recorders, The Ivy League (‘Tossing and Turning’, ’Funny  How Love Can Be’,etc.) one of Britain’s most sought after bands, constantly in demand all over the UK.

So whether you jive, bop, twist, boogie, dance round your handbags or dance like dad, be sure of a warm welcome and a great nights entertainment at the Fleetwood Hesketh. The home of the best 60’s music.
