Former Formby Doctor Stephen Crosby sentenced for outraging public decency March 7th, 2014 admin Latest News Shares Comments Former Formby Doctor Stephen Crosby sentenced for outraging public decency Stephen Crosby, aged 61, of Wrigleys Close, Formby, pleaded guilty to outraging public decency at South Sefton Magistrates Court today (Friday 7th March 2014). The offence took place inside the car park of the Grapes Hotel, Formby on Friday afternoon 24th January 2014 after a local mum drove into the car park to pick up her six-year-old daughter from the school bus which stopped nearby. The former doctor was jailed for five years back in 2004 for sexually assaulting seven women during intimate examinations at the Village Surgery in Formby over a 21-year period. He was struck off the medical register in 2004. Crosby was sentenced to a three-year supervision order and was ordered to take part in a sex offender programme.
