Follow the Churchtown Trail (Southport) July 16th, 2013 admin Latest News Shares Comments In conjunction with the national Festival of British Archaeology the North Meols Civic Society has organised three guided walks around the village of Churchtown. The walks aim to show people the hidden gems, relate the history of this ancient part of the coast and explain how our predecessors lived in this part of the Ancient Township of North Meols. Taking about an hour, each walk begins inside St Cuthbert’s Church and finishing inside the Botanic Gardens, this is a pleasant stroll which is fully accessible.
