Thousands of litres of water continues to leak from a burst water main in Moss Lane, Churchtown, Southport. The leak started about two weeks ago and has been reported to United Utilities by Southport resident Steve Johnson. Luckily the water drains straight into the Three Pools Waterways below. Contractors-United Utilities said there is nothing they can do to stop the leak for at least five weeks. They have to apply to the council to close the road to enable work to be carried out.
