Valentine’s Day Workshop: For the One You Love

Come and make stunning Valentine’s Day cards, using a fantastic watercolour technique.

Love Folk Festival

The Atkinson’s first festival of folk celebrates new, upcoming and traditional folk and roots music. Come and spend the most romantic weekend of the year with us dancing, singing, drinking, eating and generally loving folk!

An afternoon of live entertainment provided by Sefton Opera (Sefton Older Persons Enabling Resource & Action) featuring Elvis, music from bands Memory Lane and Remember When and a variety of jaw-dropping dance routines from The Bootle Belles, aimed at the over 50’s, with plenty of chance to get up and dance too!

Steeleye Span In Concert

Folk rock pioneers Steeleye Span are touring with a new live show. Maddy Prior – the voice of the band – leads a line-up featuring faces old and new.

Andy Fairweather Low and The Low Riders

7.30pm | Theatre | £20

Andy Fairweather Low  first came to prominence at the vanguard of the new youthful expression of music as the lead singer in Amen Corner. The 60s saw them clock up hit after pop hit. Songs such as ‘Bend Me Shape Me’, ‘Hello Suzy’, ‘( If Paradise is ) Half As Nice’ are internationally remembered to this day.
