End of an Era for Southport Waterfront Arts Project! (VIDEO) April 14th, 2013 admin Latest News Shares Comments End of an Era for Southport Waterfront Arts Project Local dignitaries will be among the visitors enjoying a free glass of wine and snacks at Southport Waterfront Arts Project when it closes its doors for the very last time today (Sunday 14th April 2013) after almost 3 years years. The last exhibition (today) ‘The Seven Deadly Sins’ will hopefully play on local council officers minds when they are munching away on freebees having not stood their corner to relocate the project even though it has attracted over 40,000 visitors since it opened. Project manager Tony Wynne and the resident artists would like to thank everybody who has supported them over the years. Below is a few photographs from the last exhibition, ‘The Seven Deadly Sins’ Greed, Lust, Gluttony, Pride, Anger, Sloth and Wrath. Submit News Contact us with your community, business or sport news.
