Emma’s in the doghouse – for Red Nose Day!

As part of Red Nose Day 2017, Emma Fraser, who works at the K9 Comforts Dog Training Centre in Formby, will spend all day on Tuesday March 21, locked up in a kennel… to feel the way her canine companions do.

Emma, 37, hopes to raise as much money as possible for Red Nose Day by spending thirteen hours locked up in one of the Moss Lane centre’s dog houses from 8am to 9pm in what she expects will be an eye opening experience.

The dog-mad mum of three told our reporter that she is both excited and apprehensive about the challenge!

Emma said: “As well as my day to day work I have two dogs at home and I love them to bits.

“I wanted to do something special for Red Nose Day and give something – as much as I can – to help change countless lives both here in the UK and abroad in Africa.

“So I decided that the best thing to do would be to spend thirteen hours locked up in a dog kennel!

“I work for the company K9 Comforts that is linked with West Lancs canine centre, where we specialise in dog training, dog agility, Doggy day care and home boarding.

“My manager was more than happy for me to host the challenge there and we are hopeful that a lot of people – customers, friends and family alike – will come together to support me.

“People can come and say hello and have a chat to me at any time on the day. You can make a donation on the day or we have a sponsor form at our centre if you wish to sponsor me before hand!

Emma wants to raise £500 for Red Nose Day.
