A number of residents in Cambridge Road, Southport, have complained to Sefton Council today (Friday 18th January 2013) asking them to place appropriate road signs warning drivers that Cambridge Road is closed.

This comes after a number of fire engines and ambulances responding to emergency calls having to do u-turns thus adding valuable seconds to their emergency calls.
