Driver cut free from Southport Road RTC (otsnews.tv)

The emergency service were called to Southport Road following a 999 call, Monday 27 July 2015.

The collision happened at the Hurlston Hall Golf Club turning at around 3pm.

The driver of one of the vehicles had to be cut free from the wreckage and air lifted to hospital.

Paramedics treated the other injured at the scene before they were transferred to Ormskirk Hospital.

An investigation into the full circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
