Council board up Dave Scanlan’s Bridge Street property

Sefton Council Merseyside Police have returned to the property in Bridge Street that was raided on 10th March.

David Scanlan, 63, Southport was arrested on suspicion of fraud and taken into custody for questioning.

A spokesman for Sefton Council added: “We had been working closely with Merseyside Police ahead of the raids and will continue to assist them where possible.

“Officers from our Housing Standards, Building Control and Planning teams were present at the three properties involved.

“We are currently looking to see if any housing or planning breaches have been made and will take any relevant action where appropriate.”

According to a friend of mr Scanlan Dave Scanlan is currently helping the police with their enquirers and is being held in copy lane police station
