Walking the coastal path from Crosby to Southport for Mind – The Mental Health Charity because 1 in four people could benefit from their work

Myself and John will be walking the Sefton Costal Path from Hall Road to Southport with Oliver in August this year (about 14 or 15 miles in total) to raise funds for Mind.

Mind is a charity that does a lot of good work, helping those that have been affected by mental health issues, as well as their close friends and family that can sometimes struggle to find the right way to help. Current figures suggest that as many as 1 in 4 people will be affected by Mental Health issues at some point in their lifetime – it really doesn’t discriminate.

Mind were a great help to me when I was diagnosed with PND after Oliver’s birth, providing information on their website and through emailed correspondence regarding the diagnosis, treatment and medication options.

Any funds that we can raise to send through to them could help provide answers, support and care for someone when they need it most
