Charity Event in Aid of four year old Emily Shutt who is fighting cancer for the second time. March 13th, 2014 jmr jmr Latest News Latest Notices Shares Comments Emily is fighting cancer for the second time in her short life and is awaiting a bone marrow transplant, in which they have found a donor for her but at the moment she isn’t well enough to under go the operation. Parents, Helen and Martyn have been splitting there time between being at home with Alfie and the hospital with Emily. Father Martyn has recently had to give up work to be able to do this. Emily’s mum Helen is originally from Southport but now lives in Workington. Close friend Dionne Wall is arranging the event to show all the family back home that we all thinking of them. The event takes place on Sunday 13th April at the Railway Club on Sussex road from 1pm-11pm We are looking for people to donate raffle prizes and gifts to auction at night.
