CCTV appeal on behalf of Lancashire Constabulary December 30th, 2014 jmr jmr Latest News Shares Comments CCTV appeal following assault on bus in Skelmersdale POLICE have released CCTV images of a man and a woman who they believe could be potential witnesses to an assault which happened on a bus in Skelmersdale over a year ago. The incident took place on Saturday 19 October 2013 on a bus which was travelling from Wigan to Skelmersdale. As the bus got to the Castlehey area of Skelmersdale, the victim, a boy who was 16 years old at the time, was attacked near to the back seats. A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: “Further evidence has come to light since this assault took place and we believe that the two people pictured could be potential witnesses and may be able to assist us with our investigation. We are keen to trace them and if either of them see this appeal, we would urge them to come forward and get in touch with us. Similarly, we would urge anyone who recognises the man and woman pictured or who has any information about what happened to contact us.” Anyone with information can contact the police on 101 quoting reference number LC-20141229-0416.
