Police have released CCTV images following a robbery at a pharmacy last month.

The incident happened at around 5pm on Monday 16 February at Rowlands Pharmacy on Dingle Road, Upholland.

A man dressed in dark clothing and a motorcycle helmet entered the premises and threatened staff with a large knife, demanding that they show him where the controlled drug safe was and that they hand over codeine and morphine.

The medicine was placed into a pharmacy carrier bag and handed over to the man who then fled the shop.

He was described as being at least 30 years of age, at least 6 ft tall and of a stocky build. He spoke with a northern/Lancashire accent.
