CCTV Appeal: Armed robbery – Bargain Booze, Ennerdale drive, Litherland

Detectives investigating an armed robbery at an off-licence in Litherland have released CCTV of four men they want to trace.

The incident happened at the Bargain Booze shop on Ennerdale Drive at 8.40pm on May 17th.

Detective Constable Adam Dagnall from Sefton CID said: “This was a frightening incident for the staff involved who are just local people doing their job.

“We believe there were four offenders and one attacked the security glass with a hammer while others threatened staff before leaving empty-handed.

“No-one has a right to do this to decent, ordinary working people and I am appealing to the local community for help.

“Please take a good look at the CCTV images and call me if you have any information that can help me identify who these people are.”

Call Sefton CID on 0151 777 3823 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
