CCTV appeal after Southport woman drops her late father’s watch on Leyland Road

CCTV has been released to help a Southport woman recover a watch that belonged to her late father.

Joanne Cunningham lost her dad’s watch  outside her the nursing home they own on Leyland Road in Southport. The watch had just been collected from the jeweller’s, where a new strap had been fitted.

After Joanne realised she had lost the watch, husband Jonathan searched through CCTV footage looking for clues. This is what he discovered:

Jonathan made the appeal on Facebook: “Joanne lost her dads watch outside 52 Leyland Road on Thu 7th July approx 1730 hrs.

“The watch was in her lap having had a new strap fitted. It has massive sentimental value to her as it was her late father’s.

“This is the CCTV of a young chap aged 14-17 picking it up. We don’t blame him at all just keen to get it back. Reward will be provide for its safe return.”

Anyone with information about the watch should email Jonathan here.
