CCTV appeal after cash was stolen from Formby Cricket Club
Formby Cricket Club are now appealing for help in tracking down burglars who broke into the clubhouse last night, Monday 11 July 2016.
Merseyside Police have confirmed that “a large amount of cash” was stolen from the cricket club safe, as well as paperwork and other property. The break-in was reported at 9.10am this morning and police officers are currently at the scene.
The cricket club turned to social twitter in a bid to catch the perpetrators, sharing CCTV images in hopes of identifying the men they believe to be responsible for the break-in.
