This idea came about after one of their colleagues first grandchild was born 11 weeks early and only weighing 2lb 13oz. They were told that the unit really needed a new transporting incubator so decided to do a fundraising event to thank them for the wonderful care they are giving to Angela Wilsons granddaughter Wiloe Siena. Angela said: ” I mentioned to my colleagues that I would like to do something to help raise some money towards the incubator and suggested a cake sale & raffle, the response was magnificent, each and every one of them helped in one way or another and I can’t thank them enough… What a fantastic team.
