Cast of Feature Movie at Fun Day on Saturday (Southport) May 12th, 2014 admin Latest News Shares Comments Cast of Feature Movie at Fun Day on Saturday Cast members of Tariro, the feature movie being filmed in Southport over the last month, will be at a Fun Day this Saturday. Producers of the film, which follows three victims of human trafficking, have chosen the event as an element of the rehabilitation of one of the main characters following harrowing and emotional scenes of her former experiences. Organised by the Salvation Army and taking place at their Worship and Community Centre on Shakespeare St from 1:00pm, the Fun Day includes many family attractions and the grand opening of a boules pitch that has been constructed in the garden. The coffee shop where some Tariro scenes have been filmed will be open and among the attractions will be a special Tariro area with selected production stills on display. Several cast members will be at the event with regular photo calls so that visitors can have their photographs taken with cast including Slovak actress and female lead Zuzana Garaiova, supported by Brian Wharton, Lisa Daintry, Tina Jones and others. Although the movie is not due for release until next year, visitors to the Fun Day will be able to pre-order special pre-release DVD that will be available in October this year, some seven months prior to release, and also book tickets for the closed doors premiere. Following months of post production, Tariro is set for a closed doors premiere on 14th October at the Plaza Cinema in Waterloo, prior to a proposed entry in the Cannes Film Festival.
