Caroline Whalley-Hunter reappointed non-executive director

Caroline Whalley-Hunter has been reappointed to the board of Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust as a non-executive director.

The appointment was confirmed by the NHS Trust Development Authority.

Caroline Whalley-Hunter is Head of UK Decision Support at BT Global Services.

She was brought up in Halsall, near Ormskirk, and has lived in Burscough for more than 20 years with her husband and son.

Commenting on her appointment, Caroline said “I am delighted to have been reappointed and look forward to contributing to the Trust’s progress over the next two years.”

Non-executive appointments to NHS trusts made by the NHS TDA are subject to the Code of Practice of the Commissioner for Public Appointments.

Caroline has been reappointed until August 2016 and is entitled to receive a remuneration of £6,157 per annum.
