Emergency service were called to Victoria Way, Southport shortly after 10am this morning following a 999 call.
The emergency services arrived to find that a Fiat Punto wrapped around a sign post. It would appear that the Fiat Punto lost control whist existing the roundabout travelling in the direction of Morrison’s petrol station.
A witness at the scene said: “The driver and passenger escaped with only minor injuries but was taken to Southport Hospital”.
The vehicle was later removed by FMC recovery.
