Byng House Poppy Break Centre achieves “Welcome Host Gold” Standard

Byng House, the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Break Centre in Southport has this week completed Welcome Host Gold, a nationally recognised training course on customer service to ensure the highest standards of service for its guests.

It is the first hospitality organisation in Merseyside to train a minimum of fifty percent of staff on this course and is therefore awarded Welcome to Excellence corporate status.   The staff were trained on how to understand your guests needs and expectations, to rise to the challenge of exceeding guest expectations, to discover the hidden opportunities to providing customer service & how to boost your hospitality business through customer service.

Byng House staff will be presented with a certificate and Welcome to Excellence lapel badge and a plaque.

Jason Carroll, the Manager of Byng House said “This is a fantastic award for the staff at Byng House to have achieved and it will certainly add to our already excellent customer service, and another award to add to our collection.
