A pug was reportedly attacked by a bull mastiff in Tulketh Street today, Wednesday 5 May.
Merseyside police have confirmed that a Pug dog was set upon by bull mastiff outside Marble Place shopping arcade this afternoon.
The bull mastiff was with three teenage boys who ran off following the attack.
