Broken and Dangerous pavement flags outside Southport Town Hall May 18th, 2013 admin Latest News Shares Comments Broken and Dangerous pavement flags outside Southport Town Hall A local pensioner has contacted OTS News.co.uk to highlight the dangerous state of the pavement area outside Southport Town Hall, Lord Street, Southport. The local resident said: I walked passed the town hall yesterday morning, and I must admit was disgusted at the state of many of the flags between the Town Hall and the Library. I almost went a cropper as there are a lot of broken ones, and many with large pieces missing. Now even though I am 76, I am still quite fit, but somebody bad on their feet, more so when the theatre opens and they are coming out in the dark, is likely to end up on their way to hospital. I hope Seftons insurance is up to date. Sefton can’t blame the broken flags on skate boarders! Pictured above: hazard for people with walking aids.
