April 29th, 2013 onscene Latest News Latest Whats On Shares Comments Families will have a great day out this Bank Holiday weekend at WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre with ducklings, goslings, cygnets and chicks springing up all around the centre. Starting on Saturday 4 May, you can also get a close encounter with nature and discover wetlands treasures as you delve into ponds to find mini-beasts in free pond dipping sessions, construct a free woodland den, take part in a fun free telescope treasure trail and see what you can find, explore the grounds to find all of our Springtime babies and take to the water for a birds eye view of wildlife on a canoe or a guided boat. After all this action, you can enjoy a sit down whilst the children splash and dash in our new adventure play area: Rushes. You can climb, swing and balance as you play in water, have a go on our giant slide and fly across the zip wire.
