Breens Solicitors Southport achieve Conveyancing Quality Scheme accreditation August 8th, 2013 admin Latest News Shares Comments Breens Solicitors Southport achieve Conveyancing Quality Scheme accreditation Breens Solicitors of Southport and Waterloo has achieved the top accolade for conveyancers, Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) accreditation, for the third year running The Conveyancing Quality Scheme is the Law Society’s quality scheme for solicitors who deal with buying and selling property. In order to be a member of the scheme, firms are subject to assessment and must prove that they adhere to a strict protocol laid down by The Law Society. Member firms must treat you fairly; be polite and professional; respond promptly to your enquiries; and tell you about any problems as soon as they become aware of them. Managing Partner of Breens, Stephen Breen said: “We first achieved the CQS accreditation at the scheme’s inception in 2011. Since then many more law firms have realised that being a member of the CQS scheme benefits both the law firm and its clients. “We have published the client charter on our website, www.breensonline.co.uk so that clients can know what to expect when they instruct us on a property matter.” Many mortgage providers will only deal with CQS accredited firms. It is therefore advisable to check that a conveyancer is CQS accredited before instructing them. You can search for CQS accredited firms via www.lawsocietyapproved.com or look for the scheme logo.
