Book Early For Kids’ Half-Term Fun January 24th, 2014 admin Latest News Latest Whats On Shares Comments Book Early For Kids’ Half-Term Fun There’s loads to do for young people this half-term with Sefton’s fantastic Be Active sports programme (February 17-21). Anyone aged two-16 can sign up for activities including football, dance, athletics and multi sports. There are also the popular Active Totz sessions for children aged two to five, as well as the new Active Sports Young Leadership Award for ages 12-15. Activities and camps are reasonably priced – ranging from £10 to £25 depending on the length of the session. Discounts are also available and people are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment. Cllr Ian Moncur, Sefton Council’s Cabinet Member for Children, Schools, Families and Leisure, said: “We have sports, games and activities for young people of all ages at our leisure facilities across the borough. “The February half-term is not normally blessed with the greatest weather so many of the healthy activities are indoors and are a great way for young people to burn off some energy. “There are a range of different options available so give the team a call and have a chat about which suits best.” * For more information, call the Active Sports Team on 0151 288 6283 or 0151 934 2340.
