Unnconfirmed reports are coming in that a cleaner at a popular Birkdale pub has passed away this afternoon, Sunday 4 March 2018.
Witnesses at the scene told our reporter:
“Paramedics were seen carrying a woman out of the pub on a stretcher and she was declared dead a short time later.”
A Merseyside Police scientific support vehicle is on scene and officers can be seen searching the ground floor of the pub.
The death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious at this stage.
