UPDATE: Police recover stolen bike from address in Southport 

OTSNews.co.uk can confirm that the Carrera bike stolen from Pound land on Chapel street at 8.45am on Monday has been recovered by Merseyside Police, Tuesday 5 July.

 

Original – Bike theft in Southport town centre

Merseyside police are looking for information following a bike theft on Chapel Street, Southport this morning, Monday 4 July 2016.

The bike owner said: “The Carrera bike was stolen from Pound land on Chapel street at 8.45am this morning – we immediately reported it to police.

“People have seen it happen but were to scared to interrupt but they managed to get a photographs of the man”.

Another person contacted OTSNews.co.uk following the theft and said:  “We saw the same man outside our office earlier this morning (Dukes House, Hoghton street) with bolt cutters.
