BID Manager’s delight at ‘Love to Eat’

A new, independent café and tearooms is set to open in Southport.

‘Love to Eat’ will open on London Street tomorrow(22 April 2016) on the site of the former Café Varley.

Southport BID manager Andrew Sloman said: “It’s always welcome to see new quality businesses spring to life in Southport town centre. Over the last couple of weeks we’ve had several new independents in prominent units on Chapel Street, Lord Street and now London Street with the grand opening of the gorgeous new Love to Eat café. We look forward to working with Olivia and her team over the coming months”.

The new eatery will feature a range of locally sourced ingredients and a selection of teas from specialist makers ‘teapigs’.

Owners, Richard and Cathryn Harvey, have 24 years of experience in the industry and own two similar cafés and Llandudno and two more in Conway. Their daughter Olivia will be managing the café, having worked in the business from an early age.
