Attempted bank burglary Lord Street Southport December 9th, 2015 jmr jmr Latest News Shares Comments Merseyside Police have confirmed that there was an attempted burglary at Barclays Bank on Lord street during the early hours of this morning, Wednesday 9 December 2015. The burglar(s) gained entry through a window at the rear of the building. It is understood that nothing was taken. The Lord Street bank remained closed this whilst staff waited for forensics to turn up. A Police car was parked outside on the pavement.
