Man, 24, wanted for failing to appear at court

POLICE are appealing for information about a man wanted after failing to appear at Liverpool Crown Court.

Kurtis Rowson, 24, was sentenced in his absence to 3 years in prison in December for a burglary at a post office on Square Lane, Burscough on June 12th last year. For failing to appear a warrant was issued for his arrest.

He is known to have connections to the Walton Vale and Kirkby areas of Merseyside.

He is described as white, around 6ft tall, of a slim build with short fair hair and he speaks with a Liverpool accent.

DS Steve Monk of Skelmersdale Police said: “We are keen to trace Rowson as soon as possible and if anybody has seen him or knows of his current whereabouts I would urge them to contact us.

“I would also encourage Rowson, if he sees this appeal, to hand himself in to the nearest police station.”
