On the evening of 28 June police were informed that two prisoners were believed to have absconded from HMP Standford Hill open prison on the Isle of Sheppey. 35 year-old Scott Callaghan is serving a prison sentence for perverting the course of justice and 29 year-old Billy Harkins for aggravated burglary. Detectives are carrying out enquiries to trace the pair and would appeal for anyone who has any information regarding their whereabouts to contact Kent Police by calling 999 and quoting incident reference 28-1560.
