POLICE are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a missing man. Keith McKenzie, 36, originally from Edinburgh, was last seen by his mother at an address on Newby Place in Blackpool on Sunday 29 March around 9am.

He stated that he was intending to get a bus to Lancaster and eventually on to Scotland but has failed to make contact since.

He is described as white, around 5ft 10 tall, of a slim build with blue eyes and a ruddy complexion. He has short dark brown hair and tattoos on either one or both of his forearms. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black jumper, blue jeans, blue canvas trainers and carrying a red holdall.

He has links to Bury and often travels between Blackpool and Scotland, but may be anywhere in the country.

Sergeant Sarah Sharman of Blackpool Police said: “We are growing increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of Keith and would urge anyone who may have seen him to get in touch. Similarly if Keith sees this appeal, please let us know that you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information should call Lancashire Police on 101 quoting log number 510 of March 31st.

Alternatively, they can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at Crimestoppers-uk.org. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
