Appeal for missing sex offender

17th July 2015

Keith Foster, 60, whose last registered address was in Blackpool, is wanted for a breach of a Community Order and for a breach in his notification requirements after failing to notify police of his current address.

He was originally convicted at Lancaster Magistrates Court on 11th September 2013 for possession of indecent images of children. He received a conditional discharge but was made subject to a Sexual Offences Prevention Order following his conviction.

Foster, who also sometimes goes by the name Kirstie, is described as 5ft 2ins, slim build, short grey unkempt hair and speaks with a North West accent. He often wears female clothing.

Officers believe he could still be in the Blackpool area but he also has links to Morecambe, and Lancaster as well as the Cumbria and Yorkshire areas.

DC Colin Gaskell from the Dangerous and Sexual Offenders Unit said: “We take any breach of notification requirements very seriously and I would appeal to anyone who has seen him or knows where he is to get in touch with us as soon as possible.

“I would also urge Keith, if he sees this appeal, to hand himself into the police.”

Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact police on 101.
