The incident took place around 7.40pm on Tuesday 18th February on Ruff Lane at the junction with Mill Street. The 21 year old rider of the motorcycle was taken to Southport hospital where he was treated for a minor injuries. Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact 101 and leave their contact details quoting log number LC-20140218-1116.
