The accident happened at around 8.30am on Monday 29 July when a motorcyclist was involved in a collision with a car near to the Blue Elephant pub on the Rainford bypass. The black Kawasaki motorcycle is believed to have collided with a Renault Scenic as the car was turning right across a gap in the central reserve.
