Man wanted in connection with burglaries

We are appealing for help in finding a man following a series of burglaries in Durham.

Officers are trying to trace Kenneth McGregor, 26, in connection with the incidents which have happened between August and November in Bishop Auckland.

McGregor is described as white with blue eyes and fair hair. He is thought to be in the Lancashire area.

A Durham Police spokesman said: “Following a string of burglaries at homes in the Bishop Auckland area of County Durham between August and November of this year, police would like to speak to Kenneth McGregor.

“If anyone can help trace him, they should contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via the online form at Crimestoppers-uk.org/giveinfo.

“Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £2,000 for information which may lead to an arrest and conviction.”
