“Can I ask all residents to be vigilant when using cash machines in Ainsdale village. My husband used the post office one on Sunday night (3rd December) and the machine kept his card and said out of order.
He came home checked our account and within less than an hour £750 had gone out of the account. Scammers had fitted something to the card reader which kept the card and pin. They retrieve the card and use the pin to withdraw funds.
The Post office said it happened the week before to other people so please be wary guys.”
