Accessible Information

Sefton Council has developed a Draft Accessible Information Communications document which outlines how we will make sure information is easy to access and understand for everyone.

We are looking for any comments or suggestions in the next few weeks that can be included before the document is finalised and becomes adopted by the Council.

Please take a moment to take a look and let us know what you think via email to communications@sefton.gov.uk

Did you know that we have also added Browseloud software to the sefton.gov.uk and seftondirectory.com websites? This makes the content more accessible for visitors as it uses easy speech, reading and translation tools. You don’t have to download anything and it is free to use or you can save your settings and it will remember them for the next time you visit. Just click on the yellow ‘b’ logo for details.

Breaking local news as it happens, searchable archives with photographs, the ability to instantly comment on news articles – there are so many advantages to OTS (Onthespot) News.

If you want your news read locally online then send it to ots@otsnews.co.uk – relying only on the newspaper is to restrict yourself to an ever reducing audience.
