The boy has been charged with Section 18 wounding and possession of a knife and is due to appear before Preston Youth Court this morning (Wednesday, December 23rd) A 16 year old boy arrested yesterday (Tuesday, December 22) on suspicion of Section 18 wounding remains in custody. Four other people aged between 13 and 25 and from Preston have been released on bail pending further enquiries. Police were called around 5pm on Monday (December 21st) to reports of a fight behind the Black Horse pub in Orchard Street during which the 18 year old was stabbed. He remains in a serious but stable condition in the Royal Preston Hospital where he was taken with a single stab wound to his stomach.
