A Southport Traffic warden slaps ticket on truck and runs off

This morning a truck mounted platform parked in a loading bay on West Street was given a ticket without any notice, Wednesday November 11.

A witness said: “The traffic warden was hiding behind the cab whist the tradesman carried out work from the platform above. Once he slapped a ticket on he then crouched behind the lorry and waddled off out of site of the workmen.”

“This sort of behavior gives traffic wardens a bad name, why could he not have spoken to workers…? What I witnessed was just sneaky”.
