By Tom Duffy

Joe Sharples, 24, works for Matalan Southport who are currently collecting for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. Joe decided to go further and has taken the week off work to complete his own ‘Joelympics’

He has already completed a 2 mile swim at Victoria Sports and Leisure, a 50 mile bike ride, 50 rounds of Sparring at Jab Boxing Club, a half marathon run and will finish his week with a climb up Mount Snowden.

His brother Ben did 10 sparring rounds with him and will accompany him up Snowden.  Work colleagues Tracie and Rob supported him on the bike ride and other boxing partners were Jon Lund, Norman Marshall and Scott Moonan.

As Joe is working alongside Matalan he has not got a just giving page, but donations can be made in store or via Joe.
